Description

Bruce Weber's golden era instruments tend to inspire a reverent awe among mandolin players, and this 2004 Bitterroot proves exactly why. With a spruce top and mahogany back, sides, and neck, this F-style has its own unique sound that mixes the traditional with the contemporary, making it a great fit not just for bluegrass, but just about any type of music you might care to name. Visual appointments are modest, with a natural matte finish and ivoroid headstock inlays, lending it an understated beauty in line with Bruce's personal approach to instrument design. Best of all, it plays like butter, with a great set-up that encourages you to practice for hours.

This instrument came to us in very good condition and has had no obvious repairs throughout its life. There's a small amount of playing wear on the top, back, and headstock, but nothing that significantly impacts the instrument's aesthetic appeal or its sound. Included in the price is the original hard-shell case.
