Size isn't everything when it comes to this little Vega Style M Tubaphone banjo. This is a nice blend of old and new- the 10" pot is from c.1924 with original brackets, tension hoop, and Tubaphone tone ring with a newer presto style tailpiece and an expertly made replica neck by the folks at Intermountain Guitar and Banjo company out of Salt Lake City Utah. This is played in open C tuning and has a great setup. The sound is fabulous with a surprising (for the size) amount of volume, punch, and articulation. It has railroad spikes installed on the 7th and 9th frets on the 5th string, and comes with a vintage and period correct (albeit not original) hard shell case.
