Mandolin #105 from Turkey Creek Mandolins is a home run! It was made in 2016 and has had one owner (who happens to be the builder!) This beautiful F-style has an Adirondack spruce top and a stunning one piece maple back chosen for not only for the excellent figure and grain on the maple, but also for the small little mark in the center where a worm once ate. Call it Wabi-sabi! The tone is rounded and mellow with a good bit of volume and clarity. The beautifully carved ebony bridge features a saddle made out of an old ebony black key from a Steinway piano and matches the ebony pickguard nicely. This has binding on the top, back, fretboard and headstock and a sunburst varnish finish. It comes with a very nice set of Rubner worm-under tuners, a K&K Mandolin Twin Internal pickup installed, and a Superior brand white fiberglass hard shell case.
