Description

Taylor have a real knack for making a good thing even better - hence their Builder's Edition series, which upgrade already fantastic production models into truly deluxe six-strings. The new K24ce Builder's Edition is one of our favorites so far from the California-based manufacturer, adding a new level of panache and class to the company's already ultra-premium K series. All solid koa construction forms the foundation, giving the guitar a rich, chiming response with clean and clear trebles balanced by Taylor's Grand Auditorium body shape. Rather than opt for high-gloss flash, the K24ce features a minimal satin finish to really let the tonewoods speak freely, which offsets nicely against the extensive paua inlay work used on the rosette, purfling, and fingerboard inlay. The K24ce Builder's Edition also features chamfered edges with a beveled cutaway, as well as gold-plated 18:1 Gotoh tuners as a premium upgrade over the stock tuners used on the production K24ce. Included in the price is a Taylor hard-shell case.
