Taylor continue their tradition of innovation with the GTe Mahogany, the newest addition to their Grand Theater line. With a very small, compact shape reminiscent of the company's flagship GS Mini, and a scale length that measures at just 24.13 inches, it's one of Taylor's most playable and comfortable guitars. We're also pleased to note that none of the rich and complex Taylor sound is lost with the small size, thanks to the GTe's all-solid tropical mahogany construction and the California-based company's brand-new C-class bracing, adding sustain, volume, and carrying power to this spunky little guitar. Cosmetic touches lean towards the understated, with a very light, open-pore finish and no extraneous inlay work on the fretboard or headstock. Those modest aesthetics allow the beautiful cuts of mahogany to take center stage - not to mention the GTe's great sound. Best of all, this guitar comes with Taylor's patented Expression II pickup system pre-installed, so you can plug in from day one and not compromise any of the sound that you love. Included in the price is the manufacturer's proprietary Aerocase, a hybrid-style case that keeps your GTe protected, while still lightweight and portable.
