Description
Built in the USA using all solid Spruce and Ovangkol and utilizing V-Class bracing, this Taylor is the embodiment of resourcefulness and ingenuity that the company was founded on in the American Dream workshop back in 1976. The folks at Taylor were inspired to create a guitar that has both a professional quality sound and feel, but is able to come in at a low price-point. The Ovangkol back and sides help provide a nice low end and mid-range response, while the sitka spruce top articulates the top end. The blacktop matte finish is a thin .002" which lets the wood sing out nicely, and the chamfered edges make it very comfortable on your right arm when you sit with it. This has the Taylor Expression II pickup system installed and comes with a sturdy but light-weight Taylor Aerocase.
