Description
Players interested in the apex of what Taylor Guitars has to offer need look no further than this stunning 2021 912ce Builder's Edition, a mid-sized fingerpicking monster with a big, bold sound. Offered to our customers at a substantial discount over the new price, this fantastic little guitar showcases the premium craftsmanship that has made the Builder's Edition a runaway success since the line was first introduced in 2018. Every curve and contour of this truly deluxe instrument has been carefully constructed by one of Taylor's master luthiers, who start with premium cuts of Lutz spruce, Indian rosewood, crelicam ebony and a delicately milled tropical mahogany neck and then proceed to teach the tonewoods to sing in harmony. Hand-chamfered edges, a beveled armrest and cutaway, and extensive purfling and inlay work in concentric patterns of hardwood and paua abalone make this instrument a delight to look at, too. Taylor complete the package with a Wild Honey Burst satin finish. And of course, it comes with an Expression 2 active undersaddle pickup pre-installed, too.
This guitar arrived in our store in excellent condition and was cared for immaculately by its one owner. The set up is still low, comfortable, and within factory spec, and there is virtually no cosmetic wear whatsoever, even despite the lack of a pickguard. That being said, it has opened up nicely over the course of just a few years of delicate play, and sounds even better than a new one. Included in the price is the original hard-shell case.
*Please note, per our return policy, all sales on used and consignment instruments are final.*
