Description
Taylor's 214ce Plus sees America's biggest acoustic guitar manufacturer bolster an already wildly popular model with a few high-end upgrades designed with the serious musician in mind. Just like the base model 214ce, the Plus features a solid Sitka spruce top, but now comes paired with layered Indian rosewood on the back and sides, rather than walnut. Taylor also opt for a full gloss finish, a pearloid rosette, and black binding for a sleek and striking visual look to match the perfectly balanced, ultra-clear sound that has become synonymous with the company's name. The 214ce Plus also comes stock with an Expression II active pickup system, lending it an organic and accurate sound when plugged in. Finally, Taylor have upgraded the standard Tecate gig bag to their patented hybrid-style Aerocase, for a fantastic mix of protection and portability.
