Resonator guitars are among the most-asked-about instruments that we carry here at the Denver Folklore Center, and many people are surprised to learn that they tune up and play. no differently from your standard six-string. This lovely RC-1 Duolian from Regal gives players authentic round-neck resonator sound in an affordable package, with the bright, percussive, and above all, loud sound that players look for from old-time folk blues. Taking after the National Style O in sound and feel, the RC-1 boasts a single-resonator construction and is built from durable nickel-plated steel with a rock maple saddle over a biscuit bridge. The spun aluminum cone provides authentic punch, and the pearloid headstock inlay seems to have stepped right out of a different era.
