Description
It's nothing short of magic! This lovely 11" Magician from Ode Banjo Company is one of our newest favorites here at the Denver Folklore Center, and we think it'd make a great fit for any clawhammer player looking to take their banjo playing to the next level. With a cherry neck and a maple pot, the Magician boasts a bright and clear sound with enough mids and lows to serve a variety of purposes, whether you're playing solo or with a band. Built just north of us up in Boulder, Colorado, every Ode is hand-built by Zen Ogsbury, grandson of famed Colorado builder Chuck Ogsbury. Zen's personal approach to banjo luthiery follows closely in his grandfather's footsteps, and the Magician reminds us of some of our favorite Colorado banjos of yesteryear. Included in the price is a padded gig bag.
