Description

Martin's M-36 is the company's most popular take on the jumbo guitar, and we feel it combines the best attributes of the esteemed manufacturer's two most popular shapes - the compact and slim-bodied triple-aught, and the titanic and boomy dreadnaught. The M shape scales up the dimensions of the smaller of the two options, but retains a shallow body depth and a deep waist to keep the guitar ergonomic and comfortable to play for guitarists of just about any size. In addition, the large soundboard of the M-36 is bolstered by a tried-and-true tonewood combination, with a spruce top and and a three-piece back and sides built with Indian rosewood, for a rich, classically Martin bass response. Scalloped bracing lends the M-36 extra sustain even when approached with a light touch, for a versatile guitar that excels in every task you put to it. This is one of the finest jumbos currently in production and an under-appreciated powerhouse in Martin's Standard Series. Included in the price is a Martin hard-shell case.
