Description
There may not be a better all-purpose option in Martin's current lineup than the manufacturer's tremendous GPC-16E Rosewood - this is a do-it-all workhorse of a guitar that will make an ideal fit for both new and old players. You want an American-made six-string below $ 2,500? Check. All solid wood construction, including premium cuts of Indian rosewood on the back and sides? It's got that too. How about Martin's E1 active pickup system, for a true-to-life tone on stage? Already pre-installed. Even beyond the bells and whistles, this instrument seems to have been designed with versatility in mind first, starting with its comfortable-meets-formidable Grand Performance body shape, which sports a massive lower bout but with a tight waist and a shallow body depth for improved ergonomics. In combination with a classy Venetian cutaway, it makes for one of Martin's most playable designs, without losing the volume and power people look for from the name on the headstock. We're huge fans of this guitar, and feel you will be, too. Included in the price is a Martin soft-shell case.
