Used Martin Guitars from the 1930s and 40s are some of the most valued instruments in the acoustic world and this used Martin 00-18 guitar from 1948 is a great reminder why. The numerous scratches, dings, dents, and soundboard and side cracks (all of which have been professionally repaired by a Martin authorized warranty repair man) are just a testament to my theory that the best guitars are the ones that get played the most. Currently the instrument is setup for flat-picking and strumming but sometime in the guitars life a professional quality neck-reset has been done and so the saddle has plenty of room to be lowered. "Punchy" is a term often used to describe the tone of small bodied guitars and this instrument is no exception- thats why I have nicknamed this guitar "George Foreman". To complete this knockout package is a very nice almost new Martin Geib Style Hardshell case.
