Description
When Martin announced the introduction of a Navajoa-built Jason Isbell signature model that would price at a fraction of the Nazareth-made option, we couldn't wait to get our hands on one - and we're glad to announce that the 0-10E Retro meets our highest expectations. An ultra-compact, all-mahogany guitar geared towards singer/songwriters and fingerpickers, the 0-10E trades flash and thunderous low end for subtle warmth and clear high mids. Martin borrow from their own history with 17 Series-inspired aesthetic touches, like the simple and elegant rosette or the boltaron inlays, but playability remains modern and geared towards gigging musicians, with a tapered Performing Artist neck contour that effortlessly fits even small left hands. Martin add an E1 active undersaddle pickup for a fantastic amplified tone, and ship the 0-10E Retro with a proprietary soft-shell case for a good balance of protection and portability.
