Description
Just like the Florida-based manufacturer's BT-1000, the CC-Banjitar from Gold Tone offers the characteristic sound of a banjo in guitar tuning - but unlike the BT-1000, the CC-Banjitar comes stock with a resonator on the back. It's ideal for a guitarist interested in adding the sound of a banjo to a recording who doesn't have the time to learn a new instrument, but is just as much fun for the guitarist who simply wants a little twang every now and then, too. Just as it would on a five-string, the resonator adds volume and brightness, giving this banjitar the classic, bell-like tone sought by bluegrass players. The CC-Banjitar is analogous to Gold Tone's CC-50RP, our most popular beginner's resonator banjo, so if the prospective player decides to switch to five-string at some point, the transition will be smooth. It even comes with Gold Tone's SMP+ magnetic pickup pre-installed for ease of use in live applications. Included in the price is a Gold Tone gig bag.
