Description
While most of Eastman's flat-top steel-strings tend to closely follow Martin designs, the company makes a mean Gibson copy, too - this E1SS-SB provides new and intermediate players with a way to get a bit of that classic J-45 flair at a fraction of the price of its American-made double. Just like its inspiration, the E1SS-SB is a short scale, slope-shoulder dreadnaught with a sunburst spruce top. To keep the price point reasonable and attainable for players of all stripes, Eastman utilize a matte finish, and opt for a sapele back and sides rather than the expensive and endangered tropical mahogany Gibson still use on their flagship flat-top. It's one of the best dreadnaughts we sell under the four figure mark, and one we don't expect to stick around our store for long. Included in the price is an Eastman soft-shell case.
