Description

Eastman Strings make a wide range of terrific guitars at customer-friendly price points, but most of what we carry from the company are more traditional shapes like dreadnaughts and 000s. This AC308CE-LTD is something a little different, with a compact, Grand Concert size body shape with a cutaway and a slotted headstock, making it a more ergonomic and comfortable guitar for the modern steel-string player. But the unique body shape is only the tip of the iceberg - the AC308CE-LTD is stunning from headstock to endpin, constructed from all solid woods with some beautiful cosmetic appointments like abalone fretboard inlays, and ivoroid neck binding. The sound is warm and surprisingly full on the low end for a small-bodied guitar with mahogany on the back and sides, and responds very well to strumming as well as fingerpicking. The AC308CE-LTD also features an L.R. Baggs Element EAS VTC pickup for a true-to-life sound when amplified and tone sculpting options for the guitarist focused on finding the perfect sound while plugged in. Included in the price is an Eastman hard-shell case.
