Description

You won't find too many six-strings more sonically flawless and visually alluring than this wonderful SJ from Bourgeois' Heirloom series. A tight-grained and subtly figured Adirondack spruce top pairs with mahogany back and sides for incredible top-end clarity and a sound that produces rows of shimmering overtones in every chord you strum. The SJ body shape is comfortable and compact but still produces plenty of volume, and the short scale length pulls your left hand in a little closer for a more intimate feeling when you sit down with this near-perfect instrument. Visual appointments are modest, but a beautiful ziricote fingerboard and bridge add a little aesthetic pop to the instrument, and Dana Bourgeois' unremitting attention to quality and detail are evident in every curve and contour. Included in the price is a Bourgeois hard-shell case.
