A square shoulder pre-War style dreadnought that has become a classic, powerful bluegrass tool. Features Bourgeois’ unique single-scalloped X brace system which produces great balance and clarity ideal for flatpicking. Works just as well with many others styles of playing. Delivers the volume to be heard by both the band and the audience. A favorite model for Bryan Sutton and Sean Watkins. This instrument features an Ivoroid bound neck, headstock, and body, ebony fretboard with split diamond inlays, rosewood headstock overlay with pearl logo, ebony belly bridge, abalone sound hole rosette, tortoise plastic pickguard, Waverly tuners with butterbean buttons, a K+K Pure Mini pickup and an older Epiphone hardshell case that’s a perfect fit. There are signs of honest play wear-- some scratches and a few dings on the top and sides; some pickguard scratches; belt buckle scratches on the back and some capo marks on the back of the neck. There are no cracks or any sort of structural or repair issues.
