Description

The Ute is an excellent open-back banjo built at Ome Banjo Co. by Ome founder and head luthier, Chuck Ogsbury. While not bearing the incredible attention to detail and full frequency range of a name-brand Ome, the Ute is still a fine little parts banjo designed for the beginner or intermediate player who has a good ear for quality and loves the inherent charm of a hand-built instrument. All Utes come stock with multi-ply maple pots and solid mahogany necks, with aged hardware and Chuck's trademark buffalo nickel in the headstock. This Ute 11" Premium features 26 brackets as compared to the standard 14, giving the banjo a tighter, crisper sound. Included in the price is a padded Ome gig bag.
