Taylor's 700 Series has seen a bold new refresh with some of our favorite tonewoods - a red cedar top in combination with an Indian rosewood back and sides, for a lush, full sound absolutely brimming with low end to match the trademark Taylor sparkling highs pound for pound. As part of their brand new Next Generation line, Taylor have also reworked the bracing in the 714ce into a fanned V-class pattern with a relief rout for added sustain and a fuller, more three-dimensional tone in higher positions. The 714ce also features the company's brand new action control neck joint, making even dramatic changes to set up and playability that would have once required a neck reset as simple as a minor tweak with a hex socket wrench. It even comes stock with the company's new Claria pickup system, for a remarkably versatile tone when amplified. This is an all-situations instrument that combines flexibility for the working performer with the premium sound and high-end craftsmanship adored by aficionados. Included in the price is a Taylor hard-shell case.
