The Ome Northstar is one of our favorite open-back banjos and one of the best instruments Mr Ogsbury and Company make. All Ome banjos are built to exceptional quality control standards and are as visually beautiful as they are enjoyable to play and listen to. This Ome Northstar is constructed with select curly maple and a raw Sienna satin finish, as well as a striking Northstar headstock inlay and fretboard additions, both in mother-of-pearl. But this isn't just a banjo to go stargazing at - the Northstar sports a complex and above all, authentic sound suited especially for the old-time player with crisp highs by virtue of the solid maple neck, and balanced, rich lows thanks to the Vintage brass tonering that provides all the body one expects from a high-end open-back.
