Description

The new Ode banjos from Ome Banjo Partnership have begun to trickle into our shop, and we couldn't be more excited. These instruments constitute an upgrade on Ome's Ute line, a series of high-quality parts banjos aimed at the beginner to intermediate player. Odes are hand-built by the legendary Chuck Ogsbury and sit somewhere in-between the Ute and the name-brand Odes. This one, however, is particularly unique, in that it has a 13" pot, giving it a huge resonance and tonal range that's downright uncanny to hear coming out of a banjo. The Limited Edition also has a radiused fretboard, making it more friendly to players with experience on the guitar or the mandolin. This instrument boasts a particularly beautiful curly maple pot and neck, and aged brass hardware common to many of the banjos we see from Ome. This instrument is ideal for the openback player looking for their next instrument who wants a big sound and a distinctive look, as well as a cool, hand-built instrument from a mover and shaker in banjo history. Our price includes a Superior resonator-size gig bag.
