Description
A familiar favorite gets a picturesque update with Martin's D-X2E Brazilian, a new entry in their wildly popular X Series and a fantastic introduction to the world of Martin guitars for newer players. As with other options in the line, the D-X2E Brazilian combines a solid spruce top with a high-pressure laminate back and sides, but these instruments now come adorned with a Brazilian rosewood veneer for added visual pop. Like all Martin dreadnaughts, the D-X2E boasts booming lows and wonderful volume, and even features premium upgrades like scalloped bracing for a longer, richer sustain - but unlike most Martin dreadnaughts, it also ships from the factory with the company's proprietary E1 active undersaddle pickup pre-installed, for an amplified tone that stays remarkably accurate to the acoustic voice of your instrument regardless of where your music takes you. It's a great all-around workhorse acoustic designed for the player who wants a do-it-all instrument at a fraction of the cost of Martin's Nazareth-made models. Included in the price is a Martin soft-shell case.
