Description

For steel-string players looking to jump into the world of the nylon string, there are few options better than the Kremona Verea VA, a beautiful, high-quality classical suited especially for the contemporary player who's more concerned with versatility than tradition. The shallow nut width - one-and-seven-eighths of an inch - will feel more familiar to the steel-string player, who might be thrown off by the more traditional two-inch width seen on most classical guitars. But beyond the nut width, the Verea sports a number of other features that seem geared towards the modern crossover player, most obviously the sleek Venetian cutaway and the onboard Fishman PreSys Blend pickup, which enables the guitar to be amplified without losing its rich acoustic tone. The Verea VA comes with a solid cedar top, enhancing low frequencies and giving the guitar a gentle warmth that simply can't be had with spruce. Finally, included in the price is a very nice Kremona CGGB gig bag, making it easy to transport the guitar from home to stage without compromising on protection.
