Description
Authentic Beard resonators are no joke, but luckily for the cost-conscious among us, Gold Tone's PBS dobro is there to answer the bell. Built in collaboration with Mr Paul Beard himself, this wood-bodied square-neck boasts a big, three-dimensional tone with less of the nasal quality that single-cone spider bridge resonator guitars can oftentimes have. The entry level model in Gold Tone's Paul Beard Signature Series, the stock PBS utilizes all mahogany construction in tandem with an authentic Beard BC-1 under the coverplate, and is shot in an eye-catching glossy sunburst. This is a fantastic next-step dobro for those among us looking for a high lonesome sound on a budget. Included in the price is a Gold Tone hard-shell case.
