Description

Max Girouard is one of the better private builders working in the US right now, and we're lucky to have this lovely 2013 A-style built in his shop in Glocester, Rhode Island. It's a beautiful piece of craftsmanship that stands in the same category as a Weber mandolin from the same era, with a responsive sound, excellent set-up, and a rich tone quality that puts it among the best A-styles we currently have in our store. A full gloss finish with a sunburst that emphasises reds and pinks also ensures it's a visual standout, not to mention truly beautiful cuts of flamed maple on the back, sides, and neck. If you're not familiar with Girouard mandolins, we encourage you to come down to our store and see what you're missing. Includes an after-market Travelite hybrid-style case.
