Description

A relative newcomer to Eastman's mandolin lineup, the PCH1-M104 offers beginning players perhaps the very best option below $ 500 currently in production, with a terrific set up, big sound, and quality components consistent with the company's reputation. This A-style oval hole uses a flat, Sitka spruce top in conjunction with a solid maple neck to produce the big, bright tone that draws countless pickers to the instrument, with a sound versatile enough for Americana, Celtic, or for tearing out your first few fiddle tunes. We opted for a natural satin finish on this one to let the tight grain of the spruce top steal the show in lieu of a flashy paint job. Included in the price is a padded Eastman gig bag.
