Description
Gigging musicians on a budget need look no further than Eastman's AC122-1CE for a do-it-all six-string at well under a thousand dollars. With a torrefied Sitka spruce top and a solid sapele back and sides, this instrument has a warm, open tone that will grab your attention the moment that you put pick to strings. Eastman mold those premium tonewoods to a large, Grand Auditorium body shape, giving the AC122 a rich bass end with lots of volume, but not at the expense of ergonomics, thanks to a pinched-in waist and a classy Venetian cutaway that provides easy access to frets past the neck joint. We opted to get this one in the company's Classic finish, adding a beautiful sepia burst that gives the guitar a distinctive visual calling card. It even comes with a Fishman Sonitone pickup pre-installed, enabling you to plug it into an amp the moment you get it home. Included in the price is an Eastman gig bag.
