Description

This very cool used Dobro Model 32 from the 1930s oozes the resophonic sounds of the golden age of Hawaiian music, is all original, and in very good condition for an instrument of its age.

Tonally the Dobro is very warm and has the vintage sound that makes it excellent for old blues, Hawaiian, or even for a retro bluegrass sound.

We consider the condition very good because there are a number of cosmetic flaws such as numerous small dings, dents, and scratches to be found throughout. In addition the body has shrunk slightly so there are a few gaps between the binding and the wood, the resonator cover has a spot where the plating has been rubbed off, and the neck has a small credit card thick gap between the heel and the body. However, our repair guy examined this piece and found it to be structurally secure and believes it should last for another 90 years if well taken care of.

Includes Original Softshell Case.
