Bourgeois OM Vintage (2019)

Description

While Bourgeois have changed the upgrades that accompany their Vintage line a few times, the end product is always an exceptional instrument with the serious musician in mind. This beautiful OM Vintage from 2019 has quickly managed to become a shop favorite, with a rich, sustaining tone that already sounds impressively open even after just five years of light play. This instrument features a highly responsive Adirondack spruce top, mahogany neck, and an Indian rosewood back and sides for a tone that calls to mind classic bluegrass machines of yesteryear, while still being housed in an ergonomic OM-sized body. Bourgeois complete the package visually with tasteful appointments like herringbone purfling, an extra thick celluloid pickguard, and a ziricote headstock overlay.

This instrument arrived in our store in excellent condition, with almost no playing wear that separates it visually from a new instrument. The only aftermarket alteration has been the addition of a K&K Pure Mini passive piezo pickup, enabling the guitar to be quickly and easily amplified. The set up is still factory spec, with impressively low and playable action in all positions. Included in the price is the original hard-shell case.
