Description
Bourgeois already made waves in the mandolin world with the introduction of their M5-A production A-style, and now they've upped the ante with an F-style model, too. The company's M5-F is sure to impress even expert mandolinists with its full-bodied sound and clear treble response, lending it a tone literally built-to-spec for bluegrass shredding. Pairing an Adirondack spruce top with a premium Bosnian maple neck, back, and sides, the M5-F spares no expense from top to bottom and is designed to compete with the highest-caliber production instruments available today. Bourgeois have fully torrefied the top, back, and sides for an especially played-in sound, too - you won't have to wait for this one to open up. A natural gloss finish, double ivoroid binding, and a lovely amaryllis flowerpot headstock inlay complete the package visually. The M5-F comes with a hybrid-style polyfoam case.
