The rich history of Martin ukuleles lives on in the S1, an all solid mahogany soprano that follows in the footsteps of some of the company's best-known ukes of years past. Despite its small size, this terrific little instrument packs quite a punch, and is sure to delight both seasoned as well as experienced players who want an authentic and lively tone at a reasonable price. Martin keep the cosmetic appointments fairly minimal, instantly invoking the company's classic Style 0, a similarly understated instrument with a great big sound.
