Description
As one of the very finest and best-known dobro players in history, Phil Leadbetter knew a thing or two about what makes a good square-neck guitar - and he put that expertise to use when designing his signature model, the RR-75PL-SN, for Recording King back in 2018. With an innovative, soundpost bracing system unlike any other resophonic guitar, this instrument is feather-light and has a bright, twangy sound perfect for traditional bluegrass. The tonal system is inspired by classic resophonic guitars, with a spun aluminum cone and sandcast spider bridge that invoke the sound of yesteryear the moment you put steel to strings. It's also shot in an eye-catching gloss sunburst for a little added visual pop. Your first dobro doesn't have to be an underwhelming one. Come on down and hear what Phil and Recording King cooked up today, as this instrument won't be here long.
