Description
Northfield's NFS-F5 provides a fantastic entry into the world of high-end mandolins at a price point that's just too good to pass up - it's not every day that we get to sell a truly deluxe F-style below $ 4,000. Combining an Adirondack red spruce top with a highly figured maple neck, back, and sides, this eight-string is practically overflowing with old school tone and already boasts a powerful chop with distinct mids and lows that bluegrassers are sure to love. We opted for a rustic amber finish so as to not obscure the natural figuring in the wood, which pairs nicely with a tortoise pickguard and binding. What's not to love? Included in the price is an Airloom Recurve hard-shell case.
