Yamaha FSX3 (2024)

Description

While we may not be Yamaha dealers, we've been very taken with all of the company's new Red Label models that have made their way into our store, including this lightly used FSX3 from 2024. An all solid wood, concert-sized guitar, the FSX3 proves that a big sound and an ergonomic playing experience aren't mutually exclusive, and it excels when played both fingerstyle as well as with a pick. Yamaha keep the FSX3 close to the original Red Label appointments that shipped on the now-classic steel strings they built in the 1960s, and don't overwhelm the instrument with flashy inlays or binding. Notably different from the originals, however, is the company's inclusion of an active dual-source pickup system - the proprietary Atmosfeel electronics provide a true-to-life tone when amplified, with easy-to-access controls right on the side of the upper bout. We're highly impressed with this instrument and can't wait to hand it off to its next owner.

This guitar arrived in our store in very good condition, with very light cosmetic wear and no structural damage whatsoever. It has recently had a full set up including a professional fret dress, level, and crown, and plays very well in all positions with action set at a true medium. Included in the price is the original soft-shell case.
