Description
There are very few guitars in our shop right now more eye-catching than this wonderful 2014 Taylor T5Z Custom Koa, a visually striking, chambered electric guitar with a figured koa top designed for the modern guitarist. All Taylor T5Zs come with three pickups and a five-way selector, enabling guitarists to dial in a tone anywhere in between a true acoustic guitar or a tight, compressed humbucking electric. This makes the T5Z the perfect choice for gigging guitarists who play in a variety of different styles and need a tool versatile enough for whatever the song requires. The beautiful solid koa top of this particular instrument also lends it a little more class than one finds on the T5Z Standard.
This guitar shows typical signs of playwear, most notably a few large pick marks in the top. There's some minor scuffing on the back, but well within the realm of normalcy on a seven-year-old instrument. All wear to the instrument is cosmetic, and the set-up, action and playability are all very good. We consider the guitar to be in good condition. Included in the price is the original hard-shell case.
