Description
Taylor's new Gold Label series puts more emphasis than ever on large-bodied offerings in their lineup, and their new, jumbo-sized 714e SB is one of our very favorite instruments currently in production at Taylor's El Cajon factory. With a torrefied Sitka spruce top and an Indian rosewood back and sides, the 714e immediately conjures the SJ-200 as an historical touchpoint, but adds something modern and refined to the classic sound of a rosewood jumbo that pushes the model into new, uncharted territory. Taylor complete the package visually by way of a sunburst finish, cream inlays and binding, and a white pickguard, for a modern take on classic country and western aesthetics. Like all Gold Label models, the 714e SB comes stock with an L.R. Baggs Element VTC active pickup system, and ships with a deluxe hard-shell case.
