Description
While guitarists may not generally associate Taylor with cowboy-chord cannons, the company's new Gold Label 510e sets out to change that assessment for good. With its square-shoulder dreadnaught design, full scale length, and Sitka spruce and mahogany construction, the 510e both draws inspiration from some of the most popular American steel-string guitars ever made as well as pushes the style of build into new territory. Like all Gold Label guitars, the 510e features Taylor's new action-control neck joint which almost fully eliminates the need for neck resets, and comes stock with an L.R. Baggs Element active pickup system for a fantastic tone when amplified. Cream inlays on the fingerboard and headstock pair with a tigerstripe pickguard and a full gloss finish for a great looking instrument, but not one visually overwhelmed by fancy appointments. Included in the price is a deluxe Gold Label hard-shell case.
