Description
Players who love the sound of flamenco, samba, or mariachi but are bothered by the big, unforgiving necks on most nylon-string guitars will be elated by Taylor's Academy 12-N, a reimagining of their highly popular Academy 12 as a nylon-string crossover. This small to mid-sized six-string features a narrower one-and-seven-eighths inch width at the nut in combination with a slight radius to the guitar's fingerboard to help make it feel more approachable for musicians used to steel-string acoustics. As with the standard Academy 12, the 12-N features a solid spruce top with layered walnut on the back and sides, for a bright and punchy tone at an approachable price. This instrument comes with a Taylor gig bag to help keep it properly protected in all situations.
