Description
It's the best of both worlds! Taylor's new AD22 takes all of the quality craftsmanship and the innovative design features of the company's American Dream line, but applies it to Taylor's very popular Grand Concert shape, their most compact full-size guitar build. What that means is an all solid wood, U.S.-made guitar with V-class bracing, but in a more ergonomic shape than their larger Grand Pacific size, heretofore the only build that American Dream guitars were available in. The AD22 has a mahogany top and sapele on the back and sides, prioritizing warmth and midrange over brightness and volume. That being said, it's still an extraordinarily present little guitar, even given its small-to-mid-sized shape and short scale length. It's one of our favorite new models from Taylor and an example of the company's continual commitment to reinventing the acoustic guitar. Included in the price is a Taylor Aerocase, for a great mix of protection and portability.
