Description
Built in the USA using all solid spruce and ovangkol, and utilizing V-Class bracing, this Taylor is the embodiment of resourcefulness and ingenuity that the company was founded on back in 1974. The folks at Taylor were inspired to create a guitar that has both a professional quality sound and feel, but is able to come in at an affordable price-point. The ovangkol back and sides help provide a nice low end and mid-range response, while the Sitka spruce top articulates the top end. The matte finish is a thin .002" which lets the wood sing out nicely, and the chamfered edges make it very comfortable on your right arm when you sit with it. The AD17 comes with a sturdy but light-weight Taylor Aerocase.
