Taylor have a habit of making a good thing even better, and they've done it again with their new 700 Series guitars. This beautiful 724ce, a brand new model from the California-based manufacturer, is sure to complement the collection of any guitarist, thanks to its outstanding sound and trademark Taylor playability. While the 700 Series has traditionally featured spruce and rosewood, these new guitars are built entirely from exquisitely figured koa, ethically sourced from the manufacturer's proprietary koa farms on Hawaii's big island. Koa's naturally balanced and lush sound matches perfectly with Taylor's sonic sensibilities, for a bright, chiming voice full of overtones. Apart from an abalone rosette and the 700 Series inlay pattern, appointments are fairly light on the 724ce, allowing the beautiful figuring in the koa to do the talking instead. A light, open-pore finish on the top, back, sides, and neck allows the wood to really sing regardless of whether you're flatpicking, fingerpicking, or strumming.

The 724ce also boasts a compact, playable body shape with a cutaway for easy access to the frets above the octave. Like all of Taylor's U.S.-built instruments, it features the company's innovative V-class bracing on the underside of the top for added sustain and better intonation. An Expression II pickup system comes stock on the 724ce, allowing you to plug in and play from day one without compromising any of your guitar's natural acoustic sound. Included in the price is a Taylor hard-shell case.
