Description
Taylor's new 500 Series guitars have already proven to be a massive hit, with this small-but-mighty 512ce providing a comfortable alternative to some of the California manufacturer's more formidably-sized options. With a torrefied Sitka spruce top shot in a tasteful sepia-burst finish, and an urban ironbark back and sides, this instrument boasts a clear and impressively open sound in all registers, with a much longer sustain than one might expect from such a small-bodied guitar. That's thanks in part to Taylor's patented V-class bracing system, an innovative new way of building out a guitar's top that allows it to shine in higher registers and opens new possibilities for acoustic music in general. It even comes with the company's proprietary Expression 2 active pickup system pre-installed, for an amplified tone you can rely on, whether you're playing in your living room, or on the big stage. Included in the price is a Taylor hard-shell case.
