Description

The naturally bright and balanced sound of a Taylor just seems to perfectly match the crisp character of a 12-string guitar, making this 254ce one of our favorite options for the guitarist who can't be satisfied with just six strings. Just like the California-based manufacturer's perennially popular 214ce, the 254ce features a solid Sitka spruce top, and comes stock with layered rosewood on the back and sides for durability as well as visual appeal. Taylor's Grand Auditorium body size allows this instrument to retain low end and projection without having to reach the outsized proportions of a jumbo or dreadnaught size, and the legendary Taylor playability and set up makes this one of the easiest-playing 12-string guitars currently in production. It even comes with Taylor's Expression II pickup system pre-installed, meaning it's ready to plug and play from the get-go. Included in the price is a padded Taylor gig bag.
