Description

Most Taylor 12-strings fall firmly into the company's existing lineup of modern, tightly engineered guitars, but this lightly used 250ce-BLK Plus is a bit of a callback to the golden age of rock and roll, when every recording studio worth a damn had a workhorse 12-string on hand. The 250ce's classic vibes come by way of its design and ergonomics - it's a square-shouldered dreadnaught with a solid spruce top, mahogany neck, and a layered maple back and sides, instantly reminding one of the many widely admired models popular in the 60s and 70s. But while the design may be in line with vintage instruments, Taylor have added a few non-intrusive modern touches where it counts, including an ultra-slim neck contour, super low action by way of a bolt-on neck, and the company's famous Expression 2 active pickup system.

This instrument arrived in our store in excellent condition, with no visible playing wear and a very comfortable, factory spec set up. Included in the price is the original Taylor Aerocase, a hybrid-style case that keeps your instrument protected without the added heft of hardwood and tolex.
