Description
We've been huge fans of Taylor's highly popular 224ce-K DLX for years now, so you can imagine our excitement when we heard the line was welcoming a Grand Concert-sized little brother. Just like its larger predecessor, the 222ce-K DLX features a solid Hawaiian koa top with a koa laminate on the back and sides, plus a full gloss shaded edgeburst finish for a premium looking package, but a smaller body and a shorter scale length help to give this instrument an even chimier sound and a more ergonomic and comfortable feel. It's a standout option in Taylor's lineup and one of the finest guitars currently being built at their Tecate factory in Baja California. Taylor of course also ship the 222ce-K DLX stock with an Expression 2 active undersaddle pickup system, meaning this guitar is gig-ready from the get go, too. Included in the price is a hard-shell case.
