Description
We joke that there's a Taylor 214ce for just about every type of guitarist out there - despite the uniformity in shape and playfeel, the California-based manufacturer's most popular full size guitar comes with a variety of different finishes, woods, tuners, and cases. This 214ce-K DLX comes in near the top of the pack, with premium upgrades like a hard-shell case, a full gloss finish, and layered koa on the back and sides for a sleek, professional look. The 214ce is Taylor's Grand Auditorium shape, giving it some impressive volume and low end while still remaining comfortable for the guitarist to sit with, and the Venetian cutaway provides easy access to the upper frets, making it a perfect fit for both rhythm and lead playing. Taylor also upgrade the standard nickel-plated tuners to their proprietary gold tuner set, adding a bit of extra visual pop to the guitar. Best of all, it comes with Taylor's Expression II active pickup system pre-installed, meaning it's ready to plug in the minute you get it home.
