Description
While we're of course huge fans of Taylor's American-made guitars, some fantastic stuff comes out of their Tecate, Mexico factory as well - this 214ce-K SB Plus could easily masquerade as a much more expensive instrument. Taylor utilize a solid Sitka spruce top in combination with layered koa on the back and sides for a bright and projecting tone with a picturesque, highly figured look. The top is shot in a dark, nearly amber sunburst and cast in a full gloss finish for one of the best looking instruments in Taylor's lineup overall. The company's world-famous Grand Auditorium body helps lend the 214ce-K impressive volume and a tight low end, and low action with Taylor's famously slim neck profile keeps this one easy to play, too. The 214ce-K SB Plus ships stock with an Expression 2 active undersaddle pickup system, and comes with a Taylor Aerocase for a great combination of protection and portability.
