Description
Taylor have added a new, fresh face to their 100 Series lineup with the 114ce-S, a big, smooth-playing guitar with layered sapele on the back and sides, at a price that's just too good to pass up. As with prior versions of the 114ce, the 114ce-S comes in the California manufacturer's Grand Auditorium shape with a cutaway for easy access to the upper frets, and features a solid Sitka spruce top for some great volume, projection, and the company's trademark treble response. It also ships with Taylor's Expression II active undersaddle pickup system pre-installed, meaning it still sounds like a Taylor wherever you decide to plug your guitar in. Beginning and intermediate players will be hard-pressed to find a better option than this one. Included in the price is a padded Taylor gig bag.
